Becoming a part of the Board of Directors means that you are invested in the well-being of the Credit Union, and will help make decisions about how the Credit Union operates. If interested, please review the requirements on what it takes to be a member of our Board below!
Board Education: All Directors must have a basic understanding of finance and accounting as well as the ability to read and understand the Credit Union's balance sheet and income statements. The Credit Union offers a variety of ways for Directors to gain a basic understanding of finance and accounting including the credit union’s Financial Statements, from online training, to one-on-one sessions with members of the Credit Union's Executive Team.

Valley Oak Directors shall be elected in to three classes with staggered terms of no more than three years. It shall be announced at each annual meeting the number of Director positions up for election/re-election at that meeting.
